Adaptive Noise Cancelling automatically adjusts to the environment so that kids can concentrate quietly—or enjoy their music in noisy places without needing to turn up the volume! Using the earcup controls, they can activate Awareness Mode to hear what’s going on around them, while Quick Awareness enhances voices so kids can hear you even while wearing the headphones.

Wireless audio sharing doubles the fun
If your child’s friends also have Philips K5500 headphones, they can create a wireless daisy chain between the headphones so they can listen to the same audio together. One pair of headphones connects to the smart device for playback, and both friends then press the multifunction button to enter audio-sharing mode.

Foldable design with kid-friendly comfort and controls
Large, round control buttons on the earcups make these headphones easy to use, while the soft earcup cushions provide a comfortable fit. The padded headband adjusts perfectly, and dots on the back show which way round to wear the headphones. They can be folded flat, or flat and inward, for easy storage when not in use.

Clear calls with friends and family
A built-in microphone lets kids make calls with family and friends. A dedicated mic captures the sound of their voice, while a noise-reduction algorithm minimizes background noise from their surroundings.

Long battery life and easy connections
You get up to 60 hours of play time (34 hours with noise cancelling on) on a full charge, and a quick 15-minute charge provides 10 hours of play time. There’s also a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired listening. A dedicated BT button makes it easy for kids to pair their devices, and multipoint connectivity allows connection to more than one device at a time.

Our companion app can be used to set usage time limits so kids don’t listen for too long. The app also allows switching from the default setting, which limits the volume to 75 dB, to travel mode, which limits the volume to 85 dB.
